Global financial crises, Covid-19-pandemic and the health impact of the anthropocene make it necessary to think anew the future challenges of universal health care. Confronting this existential crises of humanity and many species on this planet, the future of health care has to be shaped in new ways and dimensions. Rising health inequalities in many parts of the world and crippling foundations of universal health care in the multipolar world polity demand for global transformations, albeit in multitudinal places on the planet. The known motto ‚think global, act local‘ must be amended with ‚and coordinate interregional‘. Universal health care and health equality is only possible throuth redistributing spaces and wealth by multilevel actors and democratic politics. The Institute for Health Policy Analysis and Consultancy is committed to that goal and reaches for the universal solidarity of mankind while transcending neoliberal global governance trough providing a network of knowledge and scholarship to this end.
